FDS-PLAB Bravo ginas outing @ BREWERKZ

Hola amigos! It's been hell long since we last met up. It was quite the disappointing lah the turn out, but we had fun anyways... at somebody's expense... hurhurhur... So this outing was set at Brewerkz @ Clarke Quay's (16th Nov 08 Sun 6pm) The people who turned up: Zhenyao, Jianlong, Me, Andrew, Derek, Tian Yee & Peter Hu. Anyway, it was limpeh's virgin trip there, but it seems pretty decent, so I guess I should be going back again soon. There was nice beer (fucking huge tower!), some eye candy, footy on the tele, good company... what's there not to like? Wooooooo!!! Most of us had BBQ combo set, which was quite a big serving but not exactly cheap, then followed by 2 freaking towers, as recommended by Ah Guan. Ahhh... it was very the satisfying :)
The paparazzi trying to get a shot of the star of tonight's show... who might he be???
Oh yeaahh it's Mr.Peter Hu!!!!! Looks like he's enjoying himself all right! PEACE. OUT! Peter Hu trying very hard to reject our kind offer of "Chrysanthemum tea". Instead he turns to ice water & free flow pepsi. WTF, its like going to MacDonald's & not ordering burgers. Lastly, group pictures of during the drinking session & the aftermath. If you look carefully at the 2nd pic, apparently Ah Guan is almost gone already... that silly smile & uneven balance... dead giveaways!!! Hahahaha!!! This has been CPL(NS) KHOO KK reporting. Over & out!

FDS-Bravo gathering December 2007

This post has taken a long time in writing. More than 10 months to exact. The Bravo ginas met up for new year's courtesy of CPL Leong Siew Loon - still that loony fool he is. But damn last minute lah this asshole, monday call people, friday come out already. How can?? But nonetheless, 6 people turned up in the end. Namely: Me, Andrew, Zhenyao, Lionel, Leong & Keon. Dinner was at Hard Rock Cafe, which was like sibeh far from Orchard MRT loh. Just imagine walking from 00 to CP5! ROFL!!! Food was all right, typical american junk food. And the crowd was poser-ish, as you can see local Stinkaporeans trying very hard to blend in with the ang-moh crowd. Crap shit. Dinner was quick and we went off for second round of drinks at Irish pub what danny murphy or what fcuk. Hahaha. Dear Ah pong (in case you're wondering who it's Lionel) went off to meet some "haawwwtt" chick but never intro to us. Talk about us being brudders man! Asshole loh!!! Anyways, a picture of us taken at Irish pub. Place with great beer but kanina fuckedup pui bongs. HAHAHAHAHA!!!! After the boozing, we're not quite yet done for the night. Next stop: Party World KTV - without the xiao-jie(s)! hahahaha... Here's Zhenyao singing very the emotionally... And Andrew is damn sad cos' there is no xiao jie(s) to accompany him... Finally, as the clock strikes 2 in the morning, we decided to call it a day. Stumbling down the stairs after feeling groggy from the bubble tea, we hailed a taxi & made our way back home... not before I squeezed ah leong's tits & promised to squeeze more when I see him in ICT next year. Really hope to have more people join in impromptu outings like this next time!

Tok's wedding dinner 5th Feb 2007

Yesterday the men of platoon bravo celebrate the loss of our fellow comrade who died fighting singlehood. He was a good man and we all had fun together while it lasted, but eventually he sucuumbed to marriage at a relatively tender age of 25. We will remember him fondly. Hahaha. Ok jokes aside, the wedding dinner was splendid. The food was good and the company was great! So many of us gathered for the first time in many months since our last gathering. It will be good to do a attendance list for memory's sake.
  1. Derek
  2. KKK
  3. Tianfa
  4. Ah Leong
  5. Andrew
  6. Zhenyao
  7. Tianyi
  8. Chan Chee Wei
  9. Jianlong
  10. Weiqiang
  11. Lionel
  12. Kairen
  13. Siang Ann
  14. Hong Hui
  15. Jianfeng
  16. Paul Teo
  17. Dinesh
  18. Julian (Secret character - must press code then will appear)
And then there were the suddenly food critics - Me and Derek who were bored enough to actually grade each dish that appeared on the table. The waitress auntie was still game enough to pass the list to the manager! Actually we all knew Derek was drunk pissed and I was just playing along with him. And not to mention Derek nearly eat auntie's tofu while getting high on the red wine. Maybe before he left, auntie got pass him her no.? Kekeke... After the wedding, a few of the "on" ones got out for a second round. Andrew the cheekoh pek suggested going to KTV pubs but I slapped him on the fucking cheeks and asked him to get a life. And so we ended up at a kopithiam near Chong Pang drinking Tiger and Carlsberg. Kudos to the peeps who went but still gotta wake up early the next morning to work. All those who go home sleep, nabeh buay on one leh. Long time never come out then got chance everyone come out happy happy also don't give face. Wet blanket loh. All in all, it was nice catching up with everybody again. Hope to have more such outings in future, yah? Preferably someone's house big enough to accomodate the whole platoon? hahaha... Last but not least, special thanks to Tok for inviting us to a wonderful wedding dinner. Congrats once again to the married couple Tok & Mei Keen and hope to hear from "Daddy" soon! Hehe...

It's polling time!

As our website is currently suffering from a dearth of activities, I as blogmaster of the universe (NOT HE-MAN) shall introduce a new play thing for you guys. If you look under the chat box, you should be able to notice the poll thingy. I hope to find enough time to update the poll topic every now and then to liven things up a bit, so hope to have your kindest support! So we shall start with our very first topic. "Who is the most hated laojiao/lanjiao in your opinion?" and please feel free to cast your sacred vote! We are a very democratic society and won't charge you that easily like in our FDS days! Haha... joke joke! I know the choices are quite limited. Perhaps you guys can contribute abit, and I can redo the poll. Besides, this is only in BETA testing mode. Won't be finalised until I find a suitable poll I fancy my eyes on. On another note, our dear ah Tok's wedding is coming up. If you have the red bomb, good for you. It means he remembers you and still considers you his friend. If you don't have it, jolly well for you then. You must have done something to piss him off badly back during our FDS days - like not helping him to ta-pao "special" whenever you book out or always ask him do sai gang, simply because he's such a nice guy and you think you can bully him around. Tough luck, mate! You're not invited! I shall post the details here just for reminder... Date: 5 Feb 2007 Time: 7:30pm Venue: Yishun Lake Garden Restaurant 1, Orchid Club Road, #02-35 Orchid Country Club Singapore 769162 *Free shuttle bus service provided from Yishun MRT station (bus stop) to Yishun Lake Garden in every 10min. Note: Only for invited guests. If you're not invited, can come... but only as far as the security gate. =P Oh, and don't forget the ang pows!

Bravo AGM '06

I'm now feeling damn tired after watching a boring match between England and Portugal. The "super stars" cost England a chance in the semi final. Lol.. Anyway, good that they lost..
Ok, enough of soccer. I must thank KKK for giving me the chance to contribute to this FDS blog. The outing today (in my opinion) was great! The food was delicious and so were the ladies around us! There are 14 of us who attended the gathering. (Peter, Zhen Yao, Andrew, Siew Wei, Chee Wei, Jiang Feng, Tian Yi, Tianfa, Ah Leong, Paul, Derek, Ah Tok, Weiqiang and me!) Someone keep putting me aeroplane.. (Guess who ba..) We had dinner at Manhattan Fish Market (Level 6, PS). Most of us chose seafood platter except a special person (you all know who).. He had F & C.. Poor Andrew.. The rice in the platter was simply delicious and the seafood was "fired" to taste. Maybe some of us wanted to get horny at night and ordered fried oysters! In the end, they couldn't finish them and we intended to let the late comers finish it! Evil! Not to forget the fries also..
After dinner, we decided to walk to Paradiz Centre for pool but in the end, we settled down at Mr. Bean which was just across the road. Ah Chan and Ah Leong had their dinner only then and the rest of us ordered drinks and cakes.. We talked and laughed for an hour or so before the waiter came to try to hint to us to go off by passing us the bill (which chalked up to 100 odd bucks! - Singapore must wait for some more years to achieve service standard of excellent quality). After which, we dispersed and the majority proceeded to have some more "boring" entertainment (see soccer) and the rest went home to get some rest.

GOGO JACKY GO!!!

Fellow brothers from FDS Bravo, has any of you noticed "someone" familiar on TV recently? YES! You are RIGHT! We might be guessing the same "someone" in our heads. Lo and behold! that "someone" is none other than one of our favourite lao jiaos from our trainee days! Give it up for CORPORAL JACKY!!!!! WAHAHAHAHAHA.... I believe even if he turns into ash, we also will remember him right? Especially for all the absolutely stupid stunts he and a few others pulled on us poor new birds while we were undergoing training at building 53 and OJT at thunderchief. These acts of mischiefs only serves to highlight the fact that some of our lao jiaos are really a bunch of very creative and talented people who stops at nothing to make an ass out of themselves and come up with very silly ideas for punishment. LOL. I mean, just look at our dear Corporal Jacky's acting skills in the advertisement which I believe is still running on TV nowadays. Do look out for this badly done advertisement which shows a group of office workers talking to their boss who is seated down, decked in a black color suit. If I didn't remember wrongly, Jacky is standing on the extreme left, in a light blue business shirt and holding a stack of files. The name of company or service that is being advertised should be NETMAIL. Anyways, I was laughing my ass off at Jacky's performance. His facial expressions are damn funny too. You guys have to see to believe it! If he should ever quit his job, Jack Neo and his J Team productions will have a vacancy for him... as a comediene of cos! HEHEHE...
